Q: What is a group?
A group is at least 10 people travelling together.
Q: Do you have an age restriction?
Unfortunately we don’t accept children under the age of 16. For your group to stay at regent hostel you will have to be at least 16 years old. Unlike some youth hostels we do not have an upper age limit. Most of our guests are backpackers and student groups in the 18 to 30 age range. Please be aware that you may be assigned a top bunk!
Q: Can you guarantee that nobody else will be staying in our room?
When you book a group though our group department, we guarantee that nobody else will be staying in your room. Conditions apply.
Q: Can we all be staying on the same floor?
We’ll do our best to accommodate you on the same floor, however it is not always possible due to the layout of our building and/or the room type you have chosen.
Q: Will we have bathrooms in our rooms?
You’ll have a bathroom in your room only if you book an en-suite room. If you book a basic room then you’ll have to use communal bathrooms that are located on every corridor.
Q: What is included in the price?
Continental breakfast, bed linen (sheets/pillow/blankets) and all taxes are included in prices we quote you.
Q: Are groups entitled to a discount?
Groups will be offered a 10% discount on our rack rates. We also offer special deals, for more info fill in the group booking form
Q: Do you have a coach parking?
We don’t have coach parking and you can’t park around Regent Hostel. Unfortunately we don’t organise coach parking. However you can contact one of these coach parks. Make sure you read our coach stopping policy.
Q: Do you request a deposit on arrival?
One group leader will be required to give a credit card upon arrival for a “Group Deposit”. This needs to be the card holder. We will pre-authorize the card for 300 €. Money will be deducted if;
- members of group are misbehaving in or outside the building
- underage guests (under 18 years of age) are found in the bar (regardless if they are drinking alcohol or not)
- interfering with the fire alarm or smoking in the room
- bus driver does not follow the coach instructions
- key cards for room access are lost

Q: How far in advance should I book?
We suggest you book between 1-6 months in advance. The sooner you book, the best chance you have of finding availability for the dates and room types you prefer.
Q: How to book?
Fill our booking form with your name, and contact details... You’ll get an answer regarding our availability and rates within 24 hours.
Q: What is an option?
An option is when you ask Regent Hostel to hold beds for your group. We usually give a 3 week option to allow you organise your entire trip. The option will expire automatically after the time period agreed.
Q: How can I have an option?
You’ll need to fill in the group booking form.
Q: How can I confirm my option?
To confirm your option (before the option automatically ends), you’ll need to contact us and pay for the first night’s accommodation (non-refundable). The balance will have to be paid 30 days prior to arrival.
Q: What payment method do you accept?
You can pay by bank transfer, credit card or french cheque, please note that we only accept payments in Euros .
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel your group up to 30 days prior arrival. However note that the deposit paid (the first night’s accommodation) is non-refundable.
Q: What is your amendment policy?
We will do our best to accommodate your changes as long as it is done at least 30 days before arrival. If you wish to change your booking less than 30 days before arrival then it’ll be at the discretion of Regent Hostel to accept or not.
